Megan Fruvellhoff Longmont therapist for women

M and Co Counseling LLC

Megan (she/her) joined our Spring 2025 Nurture cohort, where we were inspired by the way her passion, humor, and depth of experience came together to grow her private practice, M & Co Counseling. Drawing on 15 years of experience as a school counselor, Megan brings authenticity, warmth, and perfectly timed humor to every session, making clients feel at ease from the very start. Through her experiential approach including walk-and-talk sessions and the gentle support of her four-legged co-therapist, Kevin- Megan creates an approachable, meaningful space for clients to build lasting change and strengthen their connection with themselves. Whether she is supporting teens, parents, or women through anxiety, grief, or life transitions, Megan walks beside her clients with compassion and humor, making the journey feel lighter, more hopeful, and deeply supported.

Megan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of M & Co Counseling, a private practice in Longmont, Colorado. After 15 years of working as a school counselor, Megan brings a deep understanding of the challenges teens, young adults, and parents face in today’s world.

At M & Co Counseling, her approach is summed up in her tagline:
“Therapy with space to fall apart, figure things out, and find your way.”

Megan specializes in working with teens, young adults, women, and parents who are coping with anxiety, perfectionism, grief, or life transitions. She knows it can be hard to find a therapist who “gets it,” especially for teens who may not want to sit in an office and “do therapy.” That’s why she offers flexible approaches such as walk-and-talk sessions outside, creative interventions, and therapy alongside her therapy dog, Kevin.

Megan’s style is warm, relatable, and client-centered. She believes therapy works best when clients feel understood, respected, and in control of the process. Together, Megan and her client’s build coping skills, self-compassion, and balance while creating meaningful change.

Megan accepts private pay in her practice and provides superbills upon request for insurance reimbursement. She offers a free 15 minute consultation for new clients. Feel free to contact Megan via her website (mandcocounseling.com) to begin your healing journey.
