NURTURE is a 3-month group mentorship program that provides you with the tools and support you need to build a thriving private practice.
Knowing how to start up and run a successful private practice is not something they teach us in grad school.
We created NURTURE in order to make the path of starting and building a private practice easy, supportive, and straight forward.
When we began our private practices we felt really unprepared and sought out a lot of extra training to help us get to where we are today. There were some lessons we learned the hard way and wish we had a program like NURTURE to help us.
Now we run successful businesses that allow us to work with people we love, create abundance, and have community. We want to share with you how to make this your reality, too.
Yes, you can work with your ideal clients, make good money, and not compromise your values or well-being in the process.
NURTURE takes our collective 20 years of experience and all we have learned about running successful practices and combines it into one program with an awesome community to boot!
This unique group is not simply a skills group, but a supportive cohort of individuals exploring topics such as money mindset, building identity as a business owner, work/life balance, and imposter syndrome.
We also will cover all the practical tools such as finding and converting clients, legal considerations, copywriting, and building systems to help you thrive in your practice.
We want every therapist to flourish and we believe every therapist deserves to have a business that works for their lives. We’d love to help you make that happen!

Marissa is passionate about helping clinicians build thriving practices and maintain sustainable businesses so they can show up to serve their clients at their best. She believes therapists deserve to make good money, work with their ideal clients, have balanced lives, and live out their values through their business practices while doing what they love. Marissa has invested in and consulted with many esteemed mentors over the years to build her practice and she values community support and growth through connection with others. In addition to being a life-long learner in her fields of expertise such as attachment-based experiential psychotherapy and ecotherapy, Marissa is a consultant, writer, and an advocate for equality and sustainability within this field. When she is not in the therapy office you can likely find her frolicking on Colorado trails with her pup.

Meredith strongly believes in empowering client's to better manage their mental health by helping them understand what is happening in their brain, and -similarly- helping clinicians grow successful practices by taking the guesswork out of how to get there. She believes that being a therapist is an empowering career- full of deep connection, courage, and vulnerability- but that it only feels that way when therapists are meeting their own needs, enjoying a healthy work/life balance, and feeling supported by one another. Through her work, Meredith has had the honor of supporting people in many different life situations, from outreaching homeless youth and providing therapy to adults dealing with psychosis, to working collaboratively with doctors/ nurses/ psychiatrists in medical and community settings, and training Masters level interns. She is always learning more about how we respond to challenges, cope, and heal in this human experience. Meredith is a mental health advocate, is a published writer and researcher, and may be happiest eating a burrito on a mountain.

What is included in the program?

Over our 12 weeks together we will have seven 120-minute group coaching sessions. In these calls we will cover all the topics you need to run a successful private practice. We will also have plenty of time for Q&A, processing together, sharing ideas and integrating the material. We have also built in implementation weeks so you have time to truly embody and work with the material. Believe us, these weeks are invaluable. We can’t tell you the number of times we have taken a program or group only to learn a lot of great info but not have the capacity or time to actually apply it. We want you to have the energy and space to bring each concept to life and scaffold each week on what you are learning.

We know how invaluable 1:1 support can be. Whether that is processing the little imposter gremlin that tries to keep you small or getting feedback on copywriting, you can discuss whatever is most useful to you in your 1:1. You will get two 1:1 coaching sessions (one with Meredith and one with Marissa).

Each week you will get access to materials to help you grow a successful private practice. From budgeting and fee setting worksheets to tools for copywriting, we have you covered.

We know you could find countless programs on how to build a successful private practice and honestly, there are some really great ones out there (we’ve done them!). But something we offer in NURTURE that few programs do is genuine, heart centered community. Because we are locally based and keep our groups small, you will get to build authentic connection with one another. This kind of support and connection when running a solo private practice is priceless. After a day of seeing clients and going home with limited information you can share because #confidentiality, we want you to be able to lean back into a community of fellow therapists who have your back. We doubt these relationships will end when the course is up either and bet you will make some lifelong friends.

Complete the application by September 17th, 2024 and we will follow up with you to set up a 20-minute consultation call. Then, if selected you will receive the program agreement to sign and can make your first payment or payment in full to hold your space.

That’s great! This program will help you fine tune your marketing, build community, expand your referral base, and support you in growing your private practice.

This cohort is being held in person, but we will have other online offerings coming up. Sign up for our mailing list to be the first to know about upcoming online offerings.

Since we aren’t attorneys and we honor the intellectual property of the attorneys we have hired to do our paperwork we don’t share documents such as mandated disclosures with you. We do however, have resources that we created with our attorney to help you make the right legal choices for your business.

You are going to get A TON of support in this program, but we don’t provide supervision for licensure or case consultation (unless you choose to use your 1:1 for a case consult). While you don’t have to be licensed to participate in this program, we cannot provide the documentation and in depth support you deserve (and are required to have for licensure). And while this program will 100% help you process the emotional side of running a business and all the things that come along with it like imposter syndrome, fear of being visible, etc. this program is not geared to processing specific client cases.

That’s awesome but this program is primarily for solo private practice clinicians. If a group practice is a dream you have down the road and you want to start with a thriving solo practice then we’d love to help you on this leg of your journey.
